Mike was born in Augusta, GA on Fort Gordon Army base, but Daddy got him back to Texas as soon as he could). After growing up in Alta Loma, TX (now Santa Fe, TX), Luling, LA, and Victoria, TX, Mike went off to Texas A&M pursuing his Electrical Engineering degree, following in Daddy's footsteps.

After graduation, Mike found a job working for the Federal Aviation Administration. After a short while in a local office, Mike worked in the installation group and finally settled into his current job in telecommunications in the FAA's regional office in Fort Worth.

Mike enjoys playing with his rugrats, his nephews and nieces (Matthew, Sarah, Lexi, Faith, and Chase) and is looking forward to growing up with Maddy and Mary. He also enjoys riding motorcycles, a 97 Honda Valkyrie, which Jana has learned to enjoy as well (something about having to hold on tight :-). He also enjoys reading and playing on the computer.

Mike recently went thru some bad times and feels blessed that he had good friends at work and at his church in Decatur who helped him make it. A wise Christian Counselor also helped him find his way. He also helped Mike see he really wanted to find a mate (in spite of enjoying being single).

All things work for the good and Jana certainly is good for Mike. He felt comfortable around her from the moment he met her and has feels nothing but love for and from her. He feels lucky to have met his partner to spend the rest of his life with.
